Reshma began her career as an attorney and Democratic organizer. In 2010, she surged onto the political scene as the first Indian American woman to run for U.S. Congress. Frequently Asked Questions

The plenary, keynote and majority of our workshops are virtual this year - allowing you to access them from anywhere you have internet. There are also some in person workshops available in the afternoon.
If you need a quiet spot with internet access, there is space available at Fisher Park School, 250 Holland Ave. It will be available beginning at 8:15 March 28.
Loging in will be available a few days before the event. You will use your ocdsb email address to login. Once you enter your email address, you will receive an OTP, on your email. You can use that to login to the event.
The platform works on all standard tech, including phones and Chromebooks. To streamline the experience you might want to download the app if you are using your phone, but that’s optional!
Only for the in-person events. You will be sent login information to access all the virtual workshops the week of March 20th.
If you click on the Agenda tab it has details about the sessions and presenters.
Our PD Committee has worked hard to find varied offerings, both virtual and in person, based on feedback from last year’s PD Day. If you have any ideas for workshops that you don’t see reflected this year, please remember to fill out the post-PD Day survey to help guide next year’s committee.
So many ways! There will be contests prior to the event that your steward will share with you. On March 28th there will be opportunities to earn points by participating in events, visiting vendors and more!
Our committee has been working hard on this event since September. We have also had lots of help from the OC ETFO office staff, especially Jessica Linnay and Margo Charles. We're always looking for volunteers to help with future PD Days! If you're interested in joining the committee or assisting in any way, please reach out to Jennifer Duncan.
